Podolini V., dated 1924ESTIMATE °€ 500 - 1000STARTING PRICE °€ 500Artúr Podolini-Volkmann studied with Károly Ferenczy in Nagybány and went on study trips to Italy and Germany. From 1911, he exhibited at the National Salon and the Művészházban. In the 1920s, he ran a free school with a reform educational focus. In 1920, he organized a group exhibition at the Nationalsalon in 1920 and another at the Helikon in 1923. At the beginning of the 1930s, Podolini-Volkmann moved to New York, From there he moved to Pretoria in South Africa, where he also ran a private school. His students included Victor Vasarely, Zoltán Borbereki-Kovács, István Dési Huber, László Káldor, Sándor Trauner and Dezső Korniss.PLEASE NOTE: The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights.
