Due to the author's famous debate with Kazinczy, he still lives in the public consciousness as the embodiment of permanence and orthology, even though he was educated, fond of literature, and a supporter of moderate language reform. This work is a somewhat belated response to the "Felelet" written by Kölcsey and Pál Szemere in defence of Kazinczy.
On the first leaf with the inscription: "A’ T. Szerző adományából birja Domby Márton". Domby was a poet, a friend of Csokonai and the author of his first biography.
