RauchESTIMATE € 300 - 500STARTING PRICE € 300Austrian landscape and animal painter and engraver of the 19th century. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Traveled to Switzerland and Italy. Worked in Florence and lived in Rome, where he supplied the exhibitions to St. Anna. From 1831 to 1841 worked in Moscow for Count Panin, painted the Kremlin and the residence of Prince Golitsyn. His two brothers Johann Joseph and Ferdinand as well as his son Carl were painters too.PLEASE NOTE: The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights. In the case of normal taxation (marked °), a premium of 24% is added to the highest bid. The mandatory sales tax of 13%, for photographs 20%, is added to the sum of the highest bid and the buyer's premium.
